There are days I sit with the weight of it all — four teenage daughters, a home that sometimes feels too small for their big dreams, and me… a single mother building a soul-led business from scratch.
I chose to walk this part of my journey alone. To know the ache of being a single mother, the endless provider and the soft place to fall. I chose to experience this.
Sometimes however I feel like I’m failing as a mother, trying to juggle this and that.
And it hurts sometimes when I’m met with lack of understanding, and hear to maybe get a “real job” because it's hard to see the invisible hours I spend building, creating, pouring my heart into something bigger than me… but I do and it keeps me going.
I see those who come to me and who trust me with their deepest life and love stories, because I’ve lived it myself.
My soul lights up knowing that I can make a difference in someone’s life who shares their story with me, and they feel truly seen — because I understand the pain, the lessons, and the triumphs from a place of lived experience. It’s this shared understanding that creates a safe space for healing, clarity, and the courage to step into a love and life that truly honours their soul.
So I’m carrying it alone for now, and sometimes I feel like I’m so alone with all this and I doubt if I can even do it.
I cheer myself up that maybe this season, as heavy and exhausting as it feels at times, is shaping me into the woman I came here to be.
I’m not just building a business.
I’m breaking the patterns of silence and self-sacrifice carried by the women who came before me.
I’m showing my daughters what resilience looks like, even when the world feels against you.
I’m teaching them that dreams matter, that their voice matters, that they can choose a different path that most people, that they can dare to be authentic, themselves and do what feels right in their heart and soul.
And maybe that’s the true legacy — not the size of the house, not the perfect family picture, not the “easy” life.
But the courage to rise anyway.
The devotion to keep showing up.
To be lead by that fire within, the soul’s calling, even when no one is clapping.
To have audacity to be yourself fully. No matter who supports or claps for you / or not.
To the women who feel this too — who cry quietly on a car ride or when the kids are asleep, who carry the weight of the world and still show up with love
— I see you.
We are rewriting history together.
Choose that fire within. And never stop shining.
You can be a great mother and a great businesswoman. You got this.
Very encouraging 🙏🏻
